anyone ever shoot estate .45?

Local guy has some so I bought it for 17.00 a box tax included.

Is "Estate" the name/trademark? If so, I don't think I ever heard of it. Can you show a picture of the box? Or do you just mean ammo that is being sold as part of an estate sale? If so, it is worth whatever old stock ammo is bringing in your area. If it is factory new and not too old, that price sounds good.

Yes, Estate is Federals...low end brand name...

I saw a few guys at my local range shooting some just this week...I was surprised because I thought they were only making that "brand name" in shotgun shells.

I asked about it ..they said it was pretty dirty ...but cheap...

Never heard of it, but it looks like your basic .45 range ammo. Cheap, because possibly an import? dunno. From Federal, I wouldn't worry about it.

I have shot it it's not bad. The only thing is if you reload they use spp. Other than that it's not bad.

Have shot a bunch of it. Winchester white box is dirtier.
Shoots nice and is accurate through all my 45's.
