"Magnum Therapy"?

I was supposed to meet my son at the range today. My doctor appointment ran late and he wound up having something come up. So I went anyhow....

Ran a couple of boxes and some odds and ends through the SRH and 629-1. Mental health is now assured for a while, until "Magnum Fever" sets in again!;). I didn't take all the gear to test my 200 grain cast loads as it was hot (mid-80's ) for April in New England and I just wanted to enjoy some relaxing shooting time. Now I have some more once fired brass to work on, and a couple handfuls of range pick-ups...

Anyone else go to Dr. Shootmore?

Not as much as I'd like.
My Redhawk was pretty expensive to shoot till I found CB bullets online. I've been getting the 200gr RNFP hard cast. $89 for 1000 free shipping. They shoot great, and the price keeps me sane.

you know i have an appointment Wednesday right after i deal with a government office.
I actually use a team Drs. Smith & Wesson

i rarely take my Magnum out as finding bullets is a bit of a pain. actually going to take it out for my annual week-long camping trip. oh yeah it's a Ruger blackhawk in .41 magnum

Sometimes you gotta have the magnum therapy. Just like sometimes you need to have .22 LR therapy. I bought that Magnum Research BFR in 460S&W for my therapy, but I had to send it back to the factory because the only way you could hit the broad side of a barn with it (or any side) would be if you were actually inside the barn.

I have my dad's Super Redhawk in 454 Casull on loan for a while to help out, but I kind of miss that BFR. I've been without it for 3 weeks now :(

I kind of like that cowbell idea. :)

I like to shoot my 22lr until empty fallowed by one shot of .357mag, fallowed by 1 44mag. It freaks people out at my range. Pop, pop, pop, pop, BOOM, KABOOOOM!!!!!!

Remington 180g 44mag are my fav's, they're loud with a big flash.:D I love the attention I get, then I walk around with my chest in the air, I'm so pretentious.
