Anyone Carry a CZ?

Hey folks,
Well I just acquired a new to me CZ 75 P-07. This is not my first CZ USA firearm, in fact my first 9mm was a CZ P-09 a little over a year ago and I grew up shooting a CZ 452 American .17 HMR. I ended up trading the P-09 for a Glock 34 Gen 4 after a couple of months because I was just beginning to work my way closer to 3 gun competition, and I hated the sights on the P-09. I thought I had become yet another Glock guy after liking the G34 so much, but today that changed.

I sent a partial trade offer to someone on armslist as I have been looking for a carry gun for when I take my permit class. Long story short, I ended up buying/trading for a CZ P-07 Duty today. Now all of the things I liked about the P-09 were hardly relevant to competition shooting. However, for a carry weapon there are many features that I like, such as the decocker/safety option to carry cocked and locked, the natural pointing ability with the gun, high capacity mags, etc. This P-07 also has tritium night sights from CZ Custom, already a noticeably huge step up from the factory sights my P-09 came with.

Is there anyone else out there carrying a CZ of any sort? Can you help me find some good quality holster options? I need both summer and winter options, and I would like to shoulder carry during the winter.

I can't wait to go shoot and see if the P-07 has the same wonderful trigger the P-09 had, and how the new sights improve my consistency. Now for one last picture, knife and all.

I'd love to see some pictures of your CZ and how you carry it! If anyone else carries a P-07 please chime in!

I've carried my 09 several times just for a change, and plan to carry my new 75 once in a while.

The new 07's have all the great features of your old 09. I don't know if the older 07s are the same in trigger feel or not. If not for having my shield I would have probably sprung for a 07 instead of the 09. The grip of the 07 ends just where I want it for my hand, I may still end up with one.

Not EDC, but I have carried my CZ40B in wintertime. It's large but fairly light and very reliable.

I just purchased a PCR that I'm looking forward to carrying once I run it through break-in and reliability testing.

I've got a CZ P-07 on my hip right now.

I've been using RDR Holsters, their IWB and OWB and mag pouch.

High Noon also has P-07's listed for most of their options.

Not that it's too relevant here, but a CZ82 is my carry piece of choice

Your not the only one. mine is not my edc but it is the most accurate carry pistol I have. Also nice to have 13 rds.

Back to the op post Its not a cz but I have been thinking about getting a EAA witness compact to try. Thinking 10mm but that may be a bit much in a compact.

I carry a P07 in a Shephard holster. Same holster fits my full sized Witness .45. I'll be getting the 10mm conversion for the Witness.

The P07 is my not at work EDC, I work enough that makes it the 2nd most carried.

My 1st shot with this P07 was dead center on the X. So centered I thought I had missed completely. We are very accurate together.

The two P-07's I had (Duty & 2014 model) are the two most accurate pistols I have ever owned, followed closely by my P-01. They replaced my Steyr and PPQ, and I alternated carrying them until I picked up my first CZ 100 several months ago, which is now my EDC.

Check out Winthrop Holsters. I get all of my gun leather from them regardless of pistol make and model that I own, and they have very reasonable prices. I prefer IWB with snap loops instead of clips, and they fit the bill for me nicely (they have clip models, as well as OWB models). Coincidentally, the holster I purchased from them for my P-07 secures the other aforementioned CZ's as if it were made for them as well.

Own a bunch of CZs and my P-01 is one of my most reliable, accurate pistolas... fits my hand like a glove, and is perfect size for carry!
IMO the P-01 or PCR Compact are top-of-the-line CZs for a Carry pistola!!

The CZp01 is the best gun purchase I ever made.

392 rnds (mostly commercial reloads) starting w/ a new gun, and -0- stoppages. Not only that, but I can shoot as tight or tighter groups w/ it than any of my other guns, including a 22 w/ a very nice light trigger.

But, it's a little big/heavy for my edc.

For serious carry I have a CZ 75 Compact with two spare 16-round, flushifitting magazines for a loadout of 47 rounds total. My typical carry, however, is my CZ 83, because it is just a bit more comfortable.

Carry the cz75b. besides the accuracy, reliability, and holding 16 rounds, the finish is great. Summers get hot down here, 103 common, and the finish has yet to rust. Some of my other pistols need a light oiling every day after carry, the cz does not punish me if I forget a couple of days.
