Anybody used C-Products AR-15 magazines

Good p-mags are little tight on my rifle.I'll give those a try.Inoticed they already had chrome-silicone springs and magpul followers. No modification required.

Good mags , I also like the SS mags. Midway AR Stoner mags are made by the same folks and go on sale once in a while.

I prefer them over P-mags myself....I just never cottoned to the polymer mags. i have a whole bunch of different C-Product mags: 10, 20 30 round mags. All have been 100% reliable so far ... and some of the 20-rounder mags that I have are easily working on well over 5,000 rounds through them.

P-mags are reliable but have their issues.Wider thicker bodies causing fitting issues in some rifles.Fat flared floorplates causing fitting issues in some pouches ,chest rigs, etc. Some people have had issues with them locking in.Just a few things to consider if someone was wanting P-mags.My P-mags were just shipped back to Magpul for slimmer replacements. If they still have issues they are going bye bye and will definately get C-Products.

I have a few Cproducts mags, although I have not used all the ones I have, and CProducts reputation says they have a high failure rate. CP also has a good rep for exchanging bad mags. It is just that I do not like buying a $10 product with the expectation of returning it.

Pmag's rep is that they run fine, just are sometimes hard to get in or out of the magwell. Of the 3 I have, 2 insert and drop fine, 1 does not drop unless it is pulled, or still has some rounds in it. Magpul will exchange it, but the difference between Magpul and CP is that I can modify the Pmag myself to get it perfect. Rather not have to do anything, though.

Well, uh, yeah. Who makes Pmags? ;)

Read the ar15.com magazine and CProducts industry forums. Plenty of issues. Like I said, CP will make it right. Also, I will not look at a few negative posts and see trouble, but there are more than a few.

ETA: CP are a low cost option, but if I have to run more than a few rounds through a mag to check it out, there go the savings.

I have around 20 of them and I've never had an issue with them. They seem to work in my rifle without a hitch.
