Anybody tried a .357Sig drop-in barrel for a G23?

What brand did you go with? How has the accuracy been? Any feeding problems? And, most importantly for me, how does the recoil of the .357Sig compare with the .40S&W?

I used a BarSto drop in for a Glock 22. No fitting was required. Accuracy was better than with the factory barrel, recoil was less and sound level was higher. Other than reloads ( the .357sig was a pain to load, IMHO) function was 100% for about 600 rounds.

Thanks. I am considering this route since it is significantly cheaper than a new gun. Do I need new mags for the .357Sig caliber, or can I use the factory G23's?

I have a KKM in my G23 and highly reccomend it.

You will have to get G32 mags for it. The .357 ammo will nosedive in most G23 mags. 10rd G32 mags internally have a ridge top to bottom on both sides. This is done by Glock to keep the bullet from trying to double stack causing the nosedive.

My experience was different than rkmstr's. With the Model 22 was that the .40 magazines worked fine, both the 10 round and the 15 round capacity.
