Anybody seen/shot the "Birdsong" PC revolver from S&W?

I've seen pics of this gun on the S&W website and am wondering is the "Birdsong" finish the main selling point or does it have other features as well, i.e., better accuracy, reduced recoil, better trigger?

BTW, I am not going to buy one of these beauties, just titillated by this forbidden fruit.
 
It might as well be forbidden fruit! The finish is not wear resistant and even the turning of the cylinder would be devastating to the value of this gun. Everyone I know who has purchased one will be putting theirs in a safe and only to be looked at. In my book, guns that don't get shot are worthless. The other Performance Center guns in stainless finish are much better buys.
