Anybody know where to find .40 Sigma mags for a good price. They are $28 in CDNN, and they aren't listed on the ProMag, or MecGar hompages.

They aren't for me.

It is kind of a long story. You see I have a bunch of relatives and friends who are currently unarmed, want to be armed, but lack fundage to buy anything nice. Most of these people I hooked up with Makarovs. However some of them are looking for full size guns, or more powerful cartridges.

A local PD is getting rid of its Sigmas, they range in quality from hardly used at all to beat to hell. I'm no fan of the Sigma, but I also know that they aren't horrible, usually they are just a hit or miss gun. Some of our TFLers love theirs, others hate theirs. And at their normal $300+ price I would never recommend a Sigma as a person's main defensive gun, to many other good options around that range. But these PD trade ins are going to be $150.

At $150, I can't think of anything better. And these are for folks on a budget, where saving up for a nicer gun isn't really an option. It is cheap gun, or no gun. And I figure the Sigma is probably better than any other full size $150 gun out there.

But here is the thing, they are LE, so no mags. Can't let us normal folks get those 15 round EVIL mags. :) So I'm trying to find how cheap they can get spare mags.

See long and complicated story. :p

So whether or not we (as hard core gun fanatics) think the Sigma is good enough, I'm just trying to help arm the masses.

At 150... I might get one!

Maybe not. ;)
However, @ 150, James should be picking them up if they are in good condition. He could resell them for some profit.

If he has the vault finished...

Hmmm... Can't seem to find them anywhere.

Anybody have half a dozen 10 round Sigma mags laying around you don't want anymore? I'll trade you some TFL shirts for them! :)

If you find a good source for preban hi-cap Sigma .40 mags please post it here.

Don't got a Sigma, but they will work in my Steyr M40 :D

I had two .40 Sigma's and one 9mm. Sold one of the .40's to buy a Glock 22 before I left for Germany. I put prolly 300 rounds through the .40 before I sold it - mostly reloads. I had a coupla instances of the slide failing to close completely in the first 50 or so rounds. No failures of any kind after that. I regret taking a beating on the Sigma & buying a Glock which I still don't have any hi-caps for. I think $150 or so for a slightly used Sigma is a great deal - I would buy one if I were in the US. Send it back to S&W if you have any problems with it. Good luck...
