Anybody have a spray in bed liner?

I'm purchasing a new truck and was thinking about getting a spray in bed liner in it. Do they hold up well to ATV's and having dog boxes being slid around in them? The chioces I have locally are Rhino-Liner and Line-X.
 
In a word, yes. Rhino liner seems to be pretty durable. I have had it in the last two trucks I have owned, and so does my buddy. They have had all kinds of stuff loaded on them at one time or another. His got an accidental gasoline wash and stayed on the liner for the 45 minutes it took to get it to a car wash. Didn't even soften the liner material one bit. I'm impressed with it.
 
Line-X for me. I thought the material looked more durable and harder than Rhino. Plus, a buddy of mine had his Rhino fade REALLY bad in the sun and had it tear away in a couple places. Plus, the Line-X was $75 cheaper than the Rhino and Line-X had a special at the time where they did the top rails for free. Very happy with it.
 
if you put rhino on, you aint gonna be slidding nothin'. least of all a dog box. that stuff makes everything stay put like it was glued there.
 
I put a Line-X in mine. While the shop that did it was pathetic, the liner itself has been great, but +1 - you're not going to slide anything that's not on wheels and it's not going to slide around unless you're a Mark Martin wannabe.
 
If you compare the two side by side the line x is a more even application.

Both are tough as nails. I had line X in a truck and nothing phased it from gasoline to rocks.

Most places guarantee the stuff and will provide a no cost repair if you actually gouge a place out.
 
+1 on linex

I went with linex as i heard that rhino can get brittle or can pull away from the metal. Not sure if it is true or not. Never had any issues with the line-x i had.

Get it over the rails its worth it.
 
Mine came from the factory with sprayed in bed liner, Nissan Frontier 22005, really good for keeping the bed undamaged and holding things in place.
 
Thanks for all of the replies. I called the dealer and told 'em to spray in the Line-X.
One of the problems I had with my current truck bedliner (plastic) is stuff sliding around. So I bought a rubber bedmat to go over the bed liner. Stuff still slides around but not as bad. Also when the back of the truck is not loaded with anything, that bedmat gets blown around by the wind when on the highway. So when I do want to load something, I have to climb up in the bed and straighten out the mat. It is a real pain. Thanks again...LoadIt
 
+1 for Line-X. A good hunting dog deserves more than bare metal.

Almost idiot proof...unless the idiot at the muffler shop misses the muffler with the flame wrench. A torch can bubble it.

I'm thinking of sanding down an old 788 stock a fraction and having it sprayed. Poor mans all weather stock. Anyone here try it?
 
I have had several different brands of spray-in bed liners in several different pickups.
IMO, the worst of the ones I owned was Rhino.
Line-X would be my choice.
 
Line-X is what I got a getting it over the Rails is the best Idea you can have. I can slide whatever I want across the top of my bed and never worry about scratching the paint, it makes moving your friends a Lot easier.
