My father-in law has access to a Wichester 92 that he wants to know if I want to buy. He claims it is a 2520 caliber, but that does not sound right to me. Is there a 2520, or do you think that is a serial number?
Nope it is a cartridge that uses a 75 grain 25 caliber bullet. It was first introduced in the 1890's for use in the Winchester Model 92. I believe it is based upon the 32-20 cartridge.
