Anybody ever buy one of those SW 65s or 686s from SGN

I read these ads in SGN for various 357
revolvers for $175 to $250. Anybody
ever buy one? What about the $10 extra
for hand picked? Is the BS?

The price seems right but you get what you
pay for.

You can't go wrong with aSX&W .357 Nagnum. U have ordred guns from the SGN and paid for hand select. I got some excellent guns that way.

Glem I've never ordered one from SGN, but have several from a local cop shop.

I got burned on one deal, some one had monkeyed with the innards and it was badly out of time. (lead shavings galore)

I had a local smith fix the gun for 40 bucks or so and it's fine.

Bottom line is that you should have a $ 40 dollar or so margin on these things. I bought 5 or 6 for myself and friends. One was bad. Only way I figured it out was to shoot it.

My experiance with the hand picked option is that it's a visual inspection.
