Anybody Else Infected?

I was at a local range/store this morning and while waiting for a few people ahead of me to check in I decided to browse the selection in the cases. Big mistake :D as I saw a used P232 two tone with night sights that looked almost new. Well, I now have a P232 to keep my P239 company and officially am infected with the Signess fever. I only shot 50 rds through it today, as I was mainly there to run some rounds through my EMP and old M1 carbine, but it was flawless and super accurate. Loved the smooth trigger pull of both DA and SA.

I had SIG fever BAD back around the turn of the century. Took until about 7 years to get over it. Now I got Glock fever. :)

It is a sickness, its just one of those incurable things, that keeps adapting, and changing, and is impervious to any kind of doctoring. :D

My new baby.... I was amazed how well she shot right out of the box. I normally like to strip and clean and lube new guns when I get them (especially used ones ) but this one apparently didn't need it. This may not be the last Sig I buy:D

"As long as you stay in good grace with the bank, it wont be."

That's not the way it works. The banks will borrow you all the money you can spend.
But first you have to prove, that you don't need it.

Ps. I still have to learn how to quote.

The P232 would be one of two guns I would gallop out and buy if I were not restricted in terms of gun numbers.

The other is a Ruger SA revolver.

Well, every now and than, I have senior moments, but I'm not old, I'm classic.
A forgot to mention, that first I bought a P226, before the other 2 followed me home.

SIG fever is rampant! My first was a X5 Competition, then a X6 L1, followed by a p232. Got .45 fever; bought a SIG 1911 Target and SIG 1911 Max. Finally, got a X5 L1. Almost bought a p239 the other day, but my LGS didn't have the P239 SAS Gen 2. I have to say the German made guns feel better to me, much smoother. The ones made in the US aren't as nice but still better than the run of the mill. My made in the US SIGs have triggers very similar to the H&K handguns with match triggers.

H&K went rampant in Dec. with the rebate. Ruined my bank balance, but re-discovered another great handgun maker. Had owned a H&K p30s, a year or so ago. Loved everything, but the trigger. Sold it because of that trigger.

Finely I think I figured out how to Quote hehe.

And the above is my biggest problem with my P239. Frame is made in Germany. The slide is made in the Good-Old-USA.
The slide is too smooth. I mean too slippery. And that's the one with the night sights.

I used to own a few Sig Sauer pistols all in 45acp but sold them all. Went with Glock and all is well. I found Sig Sauer to be a bit heavy and magazines were expensive.

I figured out a cheap way to keep my slippery Sig. I put it under the bed in the basement, to be never seen again. If it was satisfied with chicken feed, I might reconsider. But as far as it's a top heavy hard headed like me........:D

I got infected with Sig in early 2000 but was able to got rid of it only to be infected with other strands of the "GUN" diseases.

Yg
