i would like to hear what other people think of the ruger 77/22 i have the all weather model and i am more than happy with it

I've got a K77/22RP and I really like it. It's been trouble free since I bought it about 10 years ago. It is also very accurate and fun to shoot. As far as strength and durability goes, the 77/22 is the platform for the newer 77/44 in 44 Mag. They do make a nice pair too. I enjoy them both. SamC

Yep. I've had a 77/22 all weather for about 11 years and I love it. That little gun and I have taken a LOT of game and shot a LOT of targets. It's got thousands and thousands of rounds through it and it's still a great shooter.

One of my favorite things to do when I lived in Montana was to go to this ranch I knew about with my 77/22 and a brick or 2 of ammo and shoot gophers all day long.

The only thing I did to mine was get the trigger brought down to 3 lbs..

Definitely one of the best 22s ever built.

Yes, my first .22 was a 77/22. I still have it. It's in excellent shape (I've tried to take good care of it). I love that gun, but haven't shot it in years (I may have to take it out soon now).

The only problem I have had with it is with the ejection of spent cases. The hook in the receiver that catches the case and knocks it out doesn't seem to work all the time that well. I think I'll probably send the gun to Ruger for repair, as I hear their customer service is excellent.
