Anybody buy a Saiga 12 yet?

I've checked the archives. Not a lot of info out there yet.

Have any of you guys bought a Saiga 12 yet? If so give us the scoop. How has it worked for you? Has it been reliable?

I'm especially interested in the model with the 19 inch barrel. I'm starting to think that it would be quite the ticket for 3gun matches.
 
I've only seen one review, at the jpfo site, but that's pretty old. I'd like to know more about them as well.
 
I've got a friend that recently bought one and so far he's pleased with it. I haven't heard any complaints from him about it except for magazine availability.
 
I'm starting to give some serious thought to this being my next gun purchase. I don't have a semi auto 12 yet. I love my 870, but even though I get some excellent times at 3 gun with it, I always finish just behind a couple of guys who shoot 1100s or M1s. I just can't seem to shave off that extra little bit of time. And I really like the AK, plus you have to admit it is pretty darn tough looking. :)

One question, is there any way to do a select slug drill with one? Looking at it I would think that you would have to drop the mag, rack the bolt, and then drop a slug in while manually holding the bolt back. I'm just guessing because I've only seen one in person once, and I didn't have time to examine it much.
 
What they really need is the ability to take 3 in the tube + the 5 in the magazine - for when you run out and need more rounds fast. Or if you don't have the magazines ready to fire, you can just put them in the tube and have it run like a non-mag fed semi.
 
I've been lustfully eyeing these for a few years, too. After a lot of thought, though, I'm thinking I'll probably just stoke mine with slugs...Good article on 'em in SOF 'bout three years ago.
