Im looking for a 2-4 pistol range bag. I would like to have room for my ear muffs, glasses, ammo, multiple mags w/ dedicated holders, and pistol patches.

If you have a recomendation lets here it. If you can provide a link it will be much appreciated. Thanks

I have seen several black and yellow Dewalt tool bags at recent IDPA matches. Good size, lots of compartments, and probably less expensive than the tacktickle stuff.

Check out Midway's range bag on sale for $30.00 Just got mine yesterday and was hard pressed to use all the available space!! Shoulder strap, two bags in one, 2 pistol cases, water bottle holder, brass bag,6 outside pockets with bidirectional zippers,at least 12 mag loops. Worth checking out. And if you don't like it for the range, you've got a great weekender bag for traveling.

Terrible customer service from tommysgunpack.com

I haved to respectfully disagree witgh UH1-D Rotorhead on this. Tommysgunpack.com says they guarentee their products. When the zipper broke & fabric split on an outside pocket of the rangebag I'd bought from them, they wouldn't even respond to my queries. I posted about this in the gear & accessories section or maybe it was the section rating dealers etc. several months ago. Search tommysgunpack.com on this forum for the complete story. The KickinA Bags & stuff they sell seem to be fairly well designed but flimsey with a worthless warrenty sold by jerks who won't even respond to nice requests for warrenty coverage. I will never buy anything else from them & will always reccommend that you don't. If you want to know how I really feel about them, let me know.

For once, I'm going to take the low road

Normally I tend to go for high-end gear, but my range bag is a gym bag that I got at K-Mart for <$10. It's large enough to hold two handguns (in their own cases), my cleaning and tool kit, two pairs of hearing protectors, and a few boxes of ammo. I've seen some really nice ones in the ~$50 range

but the cheappy gym bag works just fine for me. Saves me money for more ammo! :D

I found a large plastic toolbox similar to the one above. I got two for under $10 at Menards if I remember right. It's nice to have cleaning supplies, lubes, and tools available and handy at the range.

Thanks Frenchwrench! I was looking for a similar setup, and the Midway bag look like it. Thanks again!!!

I like those larger US Postal Service plastic/nylon 'boxes'. Good two handed carry, toss in all your stuff (handguns in zipped cases), dump empties in the bottom, sit flat ......:p
