Any other Beretta 87 fans?

Any one who shoots a centerfire Beretta should check out the Beretta 87. It's a slightly smaller version of the 92 in .22lr.
You can shoot 500 rounds for $10 and the practice translates well to the 92. Has any anyone else discovered this great little gun?

I have a beretta 92 and love it. I've seen the 87 and want one badly but can't afford to get one yet. How much did you pay for yours? Can you give more details on how it shoots(accuracy, reliability)?

My range sells pop cans on strings for a quarter, and the 87 nails 'em with ease out to 35 feet, even at rapid fire. This little gun dramatically improved my shooting. I don't practice bullseye shooting too much, and the 87 is no bullseye piece, but it groups fairly well. I seem to remember paying between around $400 or so. (I bought it and my Kahr k40 at the same time, and they are not itemized on the reciept so I can't be sure, and my memory fails me)Reliability is excellent with higher velocity ammo, the slower stuff does not work as well. You should also check out the Umarex/Beretta pellet gun. You can shoot it inside with a pellet trap. My wife got me one for Christmas and it's amazing.
