Any members D.O.E. employees or couriers?

I work for the Dept. of Defense, and have recently sent an application/resume to D.O.E., for a courier position.

I would love to ask someone who knows, some general/non-sensitive questions about the training, pay etc........

The pay is crap and so is the B.S. you have to go through with OPM every 5 years for clearance (Q). That is why I'm quitting that garbage outfit and going into law enforcement. I shudder to think that this is the department in charge of our weapons R&D. God help us all!!!

DOE, dont know why anyone would work for that screwy out fit. But then I work for the DOA. Much nicer duty assignment areas and just more real fun anyway. Sounds like the Dept. of Ewoks looking at the news anymore. But the DOA and DOI does not start at GS-12 like other outfits do like the DOJ does. But with the right background and training a GS-9 is very possable but probably less than the DOE for hauling thire mail.
