Any lefthand friendly Glock mag ejects I can buy?

So I'm at the range, shooting my New Ruger 10/22 Rifle, when this instructor is shooting a Glock in a .40. She let's me try it. I'm left handed, and let me just say, That Mag release ripped a hole in my middle finger!!! It's sharp! So I was wondering if there was any place selling a smoothed mag release or do I have to file it down myself?

Also, I shot the HK USP in 9mm, as well as the USP in a .45 and it was A LOT MORE accurate than the Glock .40. Is it just me or are the HK's inherently more accurate?

Thanks.

I also am a lefty. I was considering a Glock as my next purchase until I held a USP. The USP was about the same in comfort of grip, but is more lefty friendly. The ambi mag release is the best design I've seen on ANY pistol- period. The Glock release can be switched to the other side for lefty's, but the HK is still better in ease of use. The slide release is easy to hit with your left index finger (if you want to), try that with a Glock!

The safety/decocker can be switched to the right side as I have just done with my Tactical. It doesn't matter in the Glock because the is no external control.

I agree that the USP is more accurate (at least in my hands), especially if it has the o-ring barrel.

The only gripe I have with my gun is that the DA trigger is not that great. The SA is fabulous. THE DA has loosened up some since I got it, so it may improve more with time.

Remember that a USP is much more $$$ than the average Glock, esp if you get a Tactical or Expert. I think you get what you pay for though (match trigger, case with toys, o-ring barrel, better sights). I am very glad I forked over the extra dough and got the HK. I may get a Glock 21 at some point it the future, but if I had gotten it first, I would not be satisfied right now.

I might be looking at other guns besides the Glocks!!! The HK is just way too bulky for me, but I like the left-hand friendliness.

I was looking at the Steyr's, and they seem to be the best Glocks out there!!! All the good things about Glocks are there, 3 internal safeties, tenifer finish, simplicity of use, with additional things that Glocks don't have, crisp trigger, load indicator, external safety, full-lockdown mode, awesome sights, and lower bore axis than even the Glocks.

Maybe you should take a look at it. I held one today, it was sweet! So I'm going to hunt down a range locally that has one I can testfire...

Twoblink, don't let the mag release be the reason you don't get a glock.

I am a lefty and I too had problems with the mag release. I took it out of the gun and filed the sharp edges smooth with a fine stone and sand paper. I dremel tool works nice too.

I have no more problems and it took about 10 min. It only take filling the 4 corners round to fix the problem.
