any info on PT22

Does anyone have any experience/opinions about the PT22 in terms of carry/reliability/accuracy?

Search for threads on this little gun here on TFL and you will find several discussions on this gun.

The consensus seems to be to spend a little more and get a Ruger Mk II or a Browning Buckmark.
 
It's a neat little pistol if you just want a pocket gun. Mine's been very reliable. The sights are nothing to write home about, but it's not exactly a target pistol. As the previous poster implied, it's certainly not a Ruger or a Browning...
 
I've been very happy with mine. Winchester ammo and not a single failure to fire, feed, or extract in nearly 2,000 rounds.

I did have some problems with failure to fire on first click with CCI, but the second would do it. I simply don't use the CCI in it.

It was my regular carry gun for several years, but I recently got an S&W 042, and that has pretty much replaced it.

I ordered an extra mag for mine a few months ago and it was 8rnd and thats how they are listed in the Taurus cataloge now. I couldn'y tell ya why. My 9rnd worked fine
