Reading the Hodgdon 2018 Reloading Manual looks like IMR Unequal gives very good velocities in most popular pistol and revolver cartridges, and is as good or better then most powders faster than Longshot or Blue Dot. So it looks slightly better than Unique, at least on paper. Accuracy? Measuring?
Has anyone actually been able to buy any of this Unequal powder yet? Work up any handloads?
For that matter, any purchases or work ups for Win 244 or IMR Blue? Winchester and Hodgdon seem to be the most prevalent on the local shelves, at least for handguns. I understand Alliant is making some updates as well. I was originally interested in CFE Pistol or IMR Blue as a possible high end .40S&W and medium-high end .44 mag powder, but the Hodgdon load data shows that unequal covers almost everything below full magnum and down to target loads. On paper at least.
