Any fellow FN FS2000 owners here?

I've had mine for about a month now. What a fun piece of hardware! It's the first FN I've ever owned. When I first got it I thought I would have to Magpul all of the magazines I'd use for it (seeing that magazines don't fall free from this gun), but after a little practice I figured out a way to swap out mags easy and fast enough. I really like this gun and would like to talk to other owners to see how they feel about theirs.

Only like a generic one.

From the CMMG website. The only difference is mine has an Eotech 511 on it now. :)

That's a sexy piece of weaponry. If you want to Fed Ex it to me, I'd be more than happy to clean it for free. :)

tINY..

The Ejection system is WEIRD. I thought it would be a problem at first, you know, get all jammed up and backed up but so far so good. I haven't been stupid enough to empty a mag straight up in the air yet but that's the only way I can see it getting 'full up'. The shells do seem to have some force behind them when they eject....I have to sit down and figure out WHY they do...well, it is what it is....LOL!

Maybe after all the hype cools down roscoe...

Someone might put one up for a decent price! You never know. This has been by far the most expensive gun I have ever bought. While I do own guns that are maybe just as pricey after putting work and parts into them, this was the only one I paid so much for just to get.
I did have to save up to get it, but it's turning out to be a super fun gun to shoot.

I had something else to say, but didn't want to hijack hoytinak's post

The FN FS2000 is one of the very few guns that I have seen that looks BETTER in civilian configuration than it's original Military form.

I like the fact that since it's a bullpup type of gun the barrel didn't need to be extended by much, and they didn't use some ugly fake surpressor to do it. And that's what makes the FS2000 better looking than the F2000 to me: the slightly longer barrel. It balances the gun out more.

Have you guys seen the Micro UZI carbine? That thing is the most ridiculous looing thing I've seen in a long time. They have something like a 12" barrel extension on them  Uuuuuugh????? It's just dumb lookin.

I just wanted to mention that about the FS2K. No need to SBR it!

Interesting.

The FN is one poodle shooter I wouldn't mind owning. In fact, I really want to buy one just to support FN's valiant efforts to reach the US civilian consumer base. It was a risk on their part. They took the opposite approach as HK and I hope they are rewarded for it.

What is the thing like for accuracy?

Actually MT...

After breaking in the Gun, it is as accurate as my 2 16" 1:7 twist AR15's and more accrate than all of my 1:9" twist barreled AR's using 62gr and 77gr rounds @ 100yrds.

I am VERY surprised with this guns accuracy MT. VERY surprised. She will be even more accurate once I polish up her trigger control group a bit for sure!

That's good to hear. Bullpups are notorious for having bad triggers. Hopefully they will be able to fix that, or someone will step up to the plate like they have for the HK roller lock clones and offer a decent trigger job at a fair price.

FN FS2000

I just purchased an FS2000 and looking forward to receiving it. Is there a site where I can get accessories for my new toy? Also what differences are between F2000 & FS2000 I know the FS is the Civilian model I'm just curious what the technical differences are in the product?

Never really looking into the 2000 but was curious if there are videos out there that show the operation of the weapon, like how they have ones for the AK how round fires and pushes gas exc exc. Do they have that for the 2000 to illustrate how the shells are pushed forward?

I have one and I really like the rifle. If there weren't so many other rifles on the market I want, I would buy another one (the fixed 1.5x optics version).

I shoot my buddy's all the time. Love it and it's my number one want/fun gun. Accurate, reliable, great for Prairie dog hunting in Wyoming. (where it's legal to hunt from vehicles.) There's a new tri-rail system that replaces the fore end that allows lights, and whatever else you'd want. I give em 2 fun thumbs up.

I am skeptical about the ejection system on that rifle. Seems to me that it's only a matter of time before it gets jammed up.

I own one with an Elcan Digital Day/Night scope, infrared illuminator, Monolith Arms fore stock Urban Tech tactical sling. It's cool but I much prefer my AR-15s.
