I've used Trail Boss with some 15 calibers, all the way from .22 Savage Hi-Power to .416 's and .458's, including .308's. There's hardly a caliber where it cannot be used effectively. I don't weigh the charges but just use what Hodgdon calls a max load, that is fill the case to where the base of the bullet will be after it is seated. For a while it was being said not to compress the powder but Hodgdon finally said that compressing could cause inaccuracy, not dangerous as originally thought. It measures very smoothly through RCBS competition powder measures. Have never tried it through a Dillon but my guess is that it should perform favorably. Can't think of any shortcomings of the powder to pass along. Mostly I use cast bullets with gas checks or moly coated bullets without.
