Any computer techie,I think I have a computer problem. Help please!

My computer is doing strange things. Also my arrow on screen,that the mouse moves is blue. Blue? It has always been black. Also I can not pull up any pictures on the net. NONE Went to gunsamerica and nothing, no pics. Odd yes? I shut down and rebooted still no luck. Maybe it's nothing here but better to be safe than sorry right?

There is a setting in your breowser that allows/disallows PIC's (jpg's & gif's). Under TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS in IE.

As to your mouse, if you have Win 95/98, go to control panel/mouse and dig around. You'll find what you need.

As to why this suddenly happened? Look, you're running Billy's BugWare. What more can I say? I've had settings COMPLETELY disappear, and did nothing to change them.

*sigh*

Since you can't see pics there may have been registry or file corruption. Try regclean here: http://www.microsoft.com/TechNet/Project/reskit/appa.asp

Probably should try scan disk too if you haven't already.

RegClean is the file @ the bottom of the page called setupreg.exe , run it after downloading it and then run regclean.exe in the folder it installed into . If the extension association was lost out of the registry this will likely catch it. Other then that it's pretty easy to reinstall win 98 and keep all of your programs & settings if you have to, run setup on the win98 CD while windows is running and choose the "save existing settings" option when prompted during the install. It takes about 30 minutes.
