Any class 3 dealers in NC?

After thoroughly reading through the ATF's and North Carolina's class 3 laws, I'm seriously thinking about adding a full auto to my collection. I've got my "red tape" waders ready, but I don't have 'em on yet. ;)
Anybody know any area dealers, or know how I can find one?

Thanks fal, found one on the subguns website that's only 20 minutes from home. There's also a big gunshow this weekend and there are usually several class 3 guys set up there, but I think the one I just found would be more reputable. 'Course they'll probably be there too.

BTW, ever think about sellin' that Hemi? ;)

Talked to a couple of class 3 dealers today, and found out I live in one of the two best counties in the State for machine gun ownership! :)
They said some counties are harder than others because it depends on the Sheriff's feelings about full autos. Luckily I am also friends with the Sheriff of my County.
Now it's just a matter of time and money. ;)

What are you thinking of getting?

I've considered off and on selling the Hemi but I'd still like to eventually build it. Originally was going to put it in a 1974 Dodge Ramcharger but......These old style Hemis are torque monsters so would be good for 4x4. Also had to get rid of the Ramcharger for other reasons. If I ever get it built it'll either go in and replace the POS V6 in my '90 D150 or I'll buy another 4x4 to put it in.
 
I'm thinkin' M1A1 Thompson. I've had the good fortune to shoot several different full-autos, ranging from Uzi's to an M60. A friend has a Thompson that I've shot quite a bit, and for some odd reason I just love that little piece. ;)
That Hemi would sure be COOL in a 4x4! :D (Big grin)

I have to second the motion of putting that Hemi in a 4x4! The only drawback I can see though is weight, good 4x4s need to be pretty darn light, and those old Hemis weigh a ton.

Actually the Hemi weighs only around the same as a SBC. Maybe a little more. The main limitation is physical size. At it's widest point I need 30 inches of clearance IIRC. But that's at the valve covers, at the bottom of the heads I still need something along the order or 24 inches or so. That's why I was going to use a fullsize truck. Now if I won the lottery I'd have a friend (used to be a crew chief in the Sixties on a Top Fueler) build up another 392 Hemi for a fiberglass 41 Willys, Gasser style. Then I could be cruisin' to the range in style. :)
