Any .357Sig loads that are as soft as 9mm?

Are there any .357Sig rounds that are packed balistically like the 9mm? I want a gun chambered in the .357Sig, but it might be a bit too snappy for my gf, and so I was wondering if they have a powered down round in that caliber...

Thanks!

check with cccammo.com to see if he can "lighten" the loads for the reman's he makes ( GREAT stuff @ 170.00/1000rds). When you get to their site you can get their number and talk to Al and he'll fix you up. They ship UPS from Conroe TX. and it is all I use for practice (124gr. fmjfp's). Get the gf used to these and then load corbon 115gr 1500 FPS HP's for defense rounds. Let me know what happens. Siggy

Siggy, that's exactly my plans. I need her to get comfortable with a bit less recoil, and then slowly move up. I can get a light load for shooting practice, for her and myself, and a nice "beefier" one for home defense. Come to think of it, the .357Sig is a superior round, just the sheer flexibility of it, it can out perform a .40 or be as soft as a 9mm...

I'll give cccammo a try. Thanks.

The only light 357 SIG loads I'm aware of are my own reloads :) Time to start pressuring the ammo companies to handle the soft end as well. Federal did it with their .40 ammo, for example.

Note: Some pistols may require a lighter recoil spring if the load gets too light.
