ANTI-GUN RALLIES ON MONDAY
Please attend to show your suppport for the Second Amendment!

On Monday, Oct. 2, the "Alliance for Justice" will be showing an anti-gun
documentary, featuring Martin Sheen, at events across the country. Dubbed
"First Monday 2000, Unite to End Gun Violence," these events will mark the
latest foray by a national anti-gun group to promote attacks on our Second
Amendment rights. These events are intended to kick-off a "two year gun
violence campaign, organized by the Alliance for Justice and Physicians
for Social Responsibility." Several of these events will feature
appearances by key members of the Clinton-Gore Administration.

In order to make sure the voices of America's law-abiding gun owners are
heard, please make plans to attend the event closest to you, and encourage
your family, friends, and fellow firearm owners to do the same.

Never forget, boys and girls, these people are stone cold Marxists, who have nothing in mind other than the destruction of the Constitution and the enslavement of the "serfs and peasants."

Ask them point blank (pun intended) just how many millions of us "vermin" they intend to exterminate, in order to confiscate our Rights and our Firearms??

Don't the rotten communistnazis off the hook, either! Make them answer!

From an e-mail ...

"Here in Knoxville, Tennessee the event will be held at the College of Law but has no connection, I repeat no connection, with the Alliance for Justice. These people did send the University of Tennessee College of Law the Martin Sheen film but the student organization planning the event decided, after viewing it, not to use it because it was considered biased.

Chalk one up for the good guys!

The Dean of the Law School told me, early in the week, that it was an annual event and had no connection with any outside organization other than the ABA. He said he knew nothing of any planned demonstrations and that only law students, faculty and ABA members would be admitted.

Well, turns out the Dean was not entirely correct. It is a public event and we, the Rights Education Fund, will be there, with at least two of our attorney members, prepared to challenge any lies presented by anyone. The Dean also said the subject was "Gun Violence in America" and would not be an attack on the Second Amendment. We shal
l see.

We have been planning our response for several weeks but were almost lulled into complacency by the Dean's statement to me. Fortunately we have other sources and learned the truth in time to regroup.

We have, not surprisingly, an informer receiving these e-mails. We have learned that the College of Law received a communication from the socialist beast stating that Rights Education Fund planned a demonstration and that extra security should be laid on. This was obviously an attempt to smear REF as we have never created or been involved in any situation requiring
any level of security.

We will be a civil and respectful presence on Monday. Any lie presented as truth will be respectfully rebutted. We will let no lie, half-truth, or misrepresentation of the facts go unchallenged.

Please, do the same in your community.

Confusion to the enemy,"

Too, in Denver, we'll be putting on Constitution Monday on the west steps of the state capitol. Big rally in support and celebration of our Bill of Rights. Direct response (that word just keeps coming up ;) )
to this First Monday nonsense.
