Florida Hospital-East on Lake Underhill Road in Orlando is open after being closed for several hours Thursday morning because of an Anthrax virus scare.
During the night, six bag handlers from Orlando International Airport reportedly came to the emergency room of the hospital after handling a package suspected of carrying the potentially deadly bacteria.
That package came in on an American Airlines flight from Puerto Rico.
Experts with the Centers for Disease Control
determined the workers had not been exposed to the virus, and the hospital was reopened this morning.
About 30 people were quarantined overnight.
The FBI is investigating the case.
