The ATF is asking for public input with respect to 23 specific questions along with comments about the costs and benefits of the regulation as well as the methodologies to be used in determining those costs and benefits.
As is common with requests for public comment, all comments will be read, but only those that are responsive to what the agency has asked for comments on will end up being passed to the attorneys and technicians working on the proposed regulations.
