Gee did ANY of these 'witnesses' bother to call 911? Once again...had someone been armed he wouldn't have gotten as far as he did.

No from what I read on C No News the guy basically had a run of the street there and just shot anybody he wanted to and nobody bothered to call authorities until he had thrown the gun down and disappeared. Sounds like the work of our CIA with orders from the pres. to "make it look good". Oh... they'll take my name for THAT comment.

this one happened a little to close to home. I got gas at the convience store. about an hour before the gunman got there. the 43 year old that was killed was diverting attetion away from his daughter when he was shot. this one has me a little unnerved. have been thinking about how I would have acted if I was a little later. And met the gunman. the gunman also tried to slash his wrists just prior to being arrested but it was a half hearted attempt. still seams the only way to stop this guy would have been an armed citizen. He had a pretty long rap sheet and two warrents out for his arrest.

Thus, current and proposed gun laws wouldn't have prevented this, as he is ineligble to have a gun. Of course, though, it's our fault and we will be held to blame.
And, I have to repeat....what if there had been an armed citizen?
