Today I tried out my new NOE 279-160 mold and made what is probably a lifetime supply of .270 bullets for me. It is a 4-cav, half checked - half plain base mold and it'll drop more bullets in 30 minutes than I can ever use. But it's really nice. I intentionally cast them a little hot so they would frost. It really helps hold the powder when coating them. These are about 17bhn too.
Then I cast a mix of HP and solid in my MiHec 312-440 Hammer of Thor for a friend's 30-30. Also in the same bhn. (He already knows the HP's won't expand, they just look good.)
