Ok so as i am sitting in my deer stand over the weekend looking at nothing i started playing around with my scope and range finder looking at different distances and then seeing how well i could see them with the scope. I set out on a tree 250 yards away with the range finder and then put my scope on it. now when i was at the range dialing my scope in i set it on max power and i could see the target well enough to see where the bullet was hitting. Now as i am on low power i am looking at this target at 250 yards and i i could make out every thing very easy. Is this a possiablility that my scope is going bad and staying on high power all the time? My second question is that If you sight your scope in for 100 yards on full power at low power is are the cross hairs still on for 100 yards? I had an 80 yard shot on a doe and at low power it seemed as i was looking at her 100 yards away and full power was just way to close. if i would of shot at low power would the point of impact of been the same as if i was on full power?
