Super Redhawk 454 w/ 9-1/2" barrel. :p

Took her to range but they don't let me fire 454's so I loaded up some 45 colts. Extremely accurate. :D

My wife doesn't understand why I need "that thing". Do you.... :confused:
 
I understand why someone would "need" one... They're a blast to shoot!!! (Literally) I just don't understand why the range won't let you fire .454's????
I mean, if you can't stand the sound of gunfire, get off the range!! Have any of these people ever heard a Ma Deuce bark??? THAT'S loud
 
Beautiful firearm. U one lucky guy. My dealer has one, used want $490.
Not too recoil shy, but that feels like a lite gun for 50% over.44 mag.
How did it feel....really.

I just don't understand why the range won't let you fire .454's????

The indoor range I frequent has a similar policy (no .44 Mags or above), and I politely asked them why. The answer I was given was that they use metal plates to deflect the bullets into the trap, and the big bore magnums cause too much damage to the plates. It had nothing to do with being too noisy.
 
love that gun!

Someone had one with a Scope and grey laminated grips either on here or on THR. What I like about the load is that you can use .45 LC as well. I mean, it's a Ruger, so it should hold together pretty where.
