Hello to all TFL'ers:
About a month ago I found a Stevens 520-30 U.S. marked trench/riot gun and grabbed it thru a trade. The wood was very muddy in color, and the "pump" wood was cracked, but by the look of her, she had potential!
Well, I got to work and completely detail stripped the shotgun. The wood was stripped and sanded, and then refinished with about 10 coats of tung oil (give or take, I lost count!)
