Another Mitch Rosen story.........

Gotcha!! Its human nature to only record BAD experiences and I have heard ALOT on Rosen here is my .02:

Ordered belt (in stock) and double mag for 1911 (in stock). I got lucky yes, talked to Nancy she was very helpful and even chatted a bit while waited for computer, very nice lady, Mitch even jumped on the phone while I was holding to make sure I was getting taken care of.
Got the stuff a week later and belt did not fit, my fault-they did take the belt back (yes it was in stock and I did not try it on) and after some more chatting w/Nancy she did not charge me any restock fee. I then order a 5G for my new upcoming Kimber in place on the belt (same price). I was told 6-12 weeks on that.
Three weeks later (yesterday) I get a box and there is the holster with a little key-chain thrown in there. What a great job by everybody over there-little tokens like the key chain are simple things that keep customers coming back. Why was it so early?? I dunno. They were more than polite and accomidating. Was I lucky?? Maybe, but they just gained a return customer.
The quality of his work is really unmatched, and hell it makes a great air freshener, my whole "cigar room" has a deep earthy leather smell in it as my holster awaits it now 2 weeks late Kimber.

Anybody looking for the Cadillac of holsters oughta give him a try. Your gun deserves it.

Glad to hear you had a positive experience with his Majesty. I got tired of the waiting and rude responses so I went with Lou Alessi. Same quality, much lower prices, and great service.

So many pistols, so little money.

My brother in law has bought several items from Rosen. He found them to be very reasonable and helpful, having been helped directly by Nancy and Mitch on a couple of occasions. Mitch even came to the phone to answer questions and discuss design one time.

Glad to hear you had a nice experience. Perhaps he was having a bad day the time I talked with him.

I've purchased a number of pieces from him (holsters, mag holder, belt) and will not hesitate to purchase more. I'm close enough to his shop so that I can visit and talk w/ Mitch as to exactly what I want. Whether in person ao over the phone, both himself and Nancy have always been very helpful and courteous. He's got my recommendation!

It's a known fact that 5% of the retail customers are pains in the A--.I've only purchased a used ARG made by MITCH, and with a little polish it still looks new.Guess ROSEN gets more than his share of the 5%.

My Mitch Rosen Ayoob Rear Guard for my Kahr 40 is the only one of my many "big name" IWB holsters that I don't like. It is simply too finicky about the angle of the draw for me to feel comfortable to take on the street. If the draw isn't perfectly right it grips the pistol such that I can pull my shoulder out before it will release. Even after about a gallon of his "Leather Lightening" it's still the same. Now for some reason the "Workman" model draws fine. Oh well, I had to give him a try.
