Another made from Kudu horn

I had plenty horn left after the first kudu powder horn.

After cutting the horn in two, I've polished the back part of the horn to this following finish...

This one will hold probably over 2lb's pound powder when full. I't gonna be beauty, and be mine... :smilebig:

I have turned the back half of the horn into a large powder horn, pretty much something akin to a wagon horn.

The wood has some history, taken from old furniture used in our government buildings in Pretoria before the buildings were refurbished in the 90's.

I do hunt myself, and quite a number of these horns came from my own hunting, these came from somebody who gave me the horns.

I have a huge stash of plenty horns.

I've looked at both your Kudo horns, and I have to say I like the look of this one quite a lot. The swirl of the underlying material along with the ripples from the base growth, along with the contrast make it a very striking horn. I wish we had something in NA that looked as good. Bison has a nice rich color, but doesn't begin to look that nice.
