I had a kimber custom target that I got rid of last weekend.I traded it for a Smith 686.The gun would only shoot 5 to 6 inch groups rested at 25 yards.I also have a brand new custom classic. This gun will shoot 2 to 3 inche at 25 but it has its share of problems. The thumb saftey will not operate after the gun is fired. Also something is gouging the frame where the barrel link and pin sit. They told to send it back. They laughed when I told them to send me out a call tag to save me 30.00 dollars.I am loosing faith the product and customer support.Does any else have problems with their products. Might trade it for a Glock 21.

So, you had two guns, one of which wasn't accurate enough to suit you (BTW, what ammo were you using? How many different brands did you try? How was it benchrested? Just curious) and the other had a problem with the safety. And yet you sent NEITHER of them back to the factory to get them fixed and expect the dealer to pay shipping to the factory when I don't know ANY dealer that does that. Sure, they should and would pay it BACK, but I have yet to hear of the one that will pay it TO.
Maybe you should ship the gun with the safety problem and let them have a crack at it before making such judgements?

Dear RikWriter, the ammo I used for the custom target was black hills, federal hydro-shok and pmc.Unfortunatly I did not fire the pistol for a year and it was out waaranty.I am a new father and this took up most of my time for the last year.I used a MTM pistol rest. Thanks for the reply.

Dave AA:

I bought a Kimber from Dean's Sporting Goods, a master dealer in Casper, Wyoming. The pistol needed to go in for repairs (twice) and Dean refused to pay the shipping. With the increased cost of shipping, almost all of the dealers in my area are leaving it up to the customer to absorb the cost of shipping.

Goat:

Don't let these guys get your goat, no pun intended. They are blind followers of the Reverend Sun Mun Kimber...a cult of individuals that have been brainwashed by constantly chanting Kimber, Kimber, Kimber...
