Another Kimber .45 compact ? Front Sight Removal

TGS

Thanks for the quick response on the recoil spring. Came right out.
Got another one. Removing the front sight. Does it drift from left to right? Seems like most go that direction, but in the back of my mind I recall reading there is one that goes the other way out (fom right to left!) This one seems stubborn and after a couple of sharp raps I dont notice any movement to the right (punch on the left). Could the kimber be a right to left? Im trying to replace it with an MMC Tritium.
Thanks
Tom

TGS, the front sights on Kimbers are extremely tight. If I'm wron someone please correct me but I believe they will push out from either side but you need a sight pusher. You'll need one to install the new sight as well. George

Thanks...

Ill build a holding fixture and press it out. Thought after a rap or two the plot was going to thicken. Aagain thanks for the info
