Happy T-Day all! Last night while leaving the entertainment district downtown, saw a big ruckus spilling out from one of the dance clubs that caters to the younger drunks. Looked like too much for the bouncers, so I used the Surefire to signal the detail cops who were 20-25 yds away, and not in line of sight with the brawl. Probably couldn't have yelled for them, too much traffic and crowd noise. When the hooligans were taken away--I stayed around and watched 'cause it's FUN to see jerks get arrested--one of the gendarmes took a moment to thank me, and he just HAD to see what kind of "searchlight" I had used. Guess I never thought of these little lights as a distress beacon!
