About ten or twelve years ago I saw an ad in the morning paper by a man wanting to sell two Ruger Blackhawks. Well, I hied over there and found he was asking $200 for either one, a 4 5/8" and a 6 1/2", both converted Three Screw models. I bought both!
Here's the 4 5/8" as bought:
And here after conversion to .44 Special, removing the conversion, and a little cosmetic touches:
The MagTech ammunition I picked up at a yard sale recently. I didn't figure it would shoot as well as my handloads, but wasn't too shabby.
