Hey guys... just sharing a new bedding job I did on my new 527. I did one of these a few years ago and it worked out okay so I wasn't too scared. However there's not a lot of room in this stock for resin and locking it in is a possibility- especially where the barrel enters the action (I filled that up with wax). I also put an aluminium pillar in the front action screw where you can see the wood already shows signs of compression. They use a roll-pin in the rear which works fine so I just left it and epoxied it in there. This is a .223 and shoots great anyway but the barrel was touching on the left of the channel at the end after a few rounds down range. I used Devcon 60 minute epoxy which is a perfect consistency for squeezing out. The 60 minutes also is good for working time. For a release agent I used Kiwi natural shoe polish which I've never had a problem with. I did have to rap on it a bit.
