'76 Python

boa-Nice python; there's just something inexplicable about the allure of those fine Colts. I have 3 Pythons: a 1969 6 in. that doesn't look quite as nice as yours, but has the best single and double action trigger I've ever tried, a NIB 2 1/2 in. blue, and a 4 in. Elite that I polished into bright stainless; also a good shooter, but nothing like the 6 in. action-wise. I have 11 other Colts, including a NIB SAA, a Prewar Det. Sp., 3 Woodsman(s), 2 1911's, and others, but when it's time to wipe 'em down, the Pythons always come first. And the six and four get shot a lot too. Have fun! -Asa

Thanks, for your nice compliments!

You have a very nice group of Colt's too! Many, of which I don't yet have! No Woodsman's, no 1911's, no Detective Special's, no SA's! I do own one NIB Colt "Viper" though! The revolver that I need, that you have in your Colt collection, is your blue(2.5")Python! Then, I'd have all of the Python barrel lengths!

heh I have a Colt SAA 4 3/4 inch bbl in .44 SPL and a Colt Woodsman...but thanks to you I have a yearning for a Python

suwheet pistol tho :D

Bought one just like it this past April. Like yours, mine was in excellent shape.
I don't think mine had ever been fired. Pythons have the most beautiful blue of any gun I've ever seen. Enjoy.

P.S. I also have a Det. Sp. made in 1965 and a .38 Police Positive made in 1932.
