Another 9x19mm Question

For those that have had a 9mm wheelgun that used moonclips, did you ever try using 380ACP or 9x18 Makarov ammo in it? Just curious if it works. I would prefer using 9x19mm anyway, but there may be times when you get a smokin' deal on something for plinking, just like shooting 38spl from your Magnum wheelgun.

9mm Mak won't work. Too big for a .357" bore (I think it's .363 or some other oddball size)

.380ACP will probably work, since the case diameter is the same. I wouldn't recommend it, though.
