Another 9mm pocket pistol...

After seeing AndABeer's post below, I thought I'd chime in with my own dilemma. My requirements for a 9mm pocket gun are a bit different than his, hence the different thread.

I like single-action, 9mmPara, semiauto pistols. I especally like the Browning High-Power and CZ-75. I'm looking for a CCW piece that would complement them. Something like a single-stack, 9mm pistol that:

- Can be carried in single-action mode (or has such a short/light DAO trigger that I can't tell the difference.)
- Has a manual safety.
- Is about the size of a Kahr Mk9.
- Light weight would be a plus.

Anybody have any ideas??? I admit, I'm stumped.

Later,
Chris

STI LS, although it is all steel it is really flat. It is flatter and lighter than a Star Firestar. I believe that Star may have made a pistol to your specs. Maybe a BK or BKM? Some Star expert out there should have an answer.

If you find a pistol to fit your needs that is also moderately priced, please let me know! The problem is that most small pocket pistols are of recent design, and in todays letigious world it's "safer" to make the pistol DAO.

Think about all of the current pocket pistol choices. I can't think of ANY of them that are single action. The only one that comes close is an Officer sized 1911, and that's still pretty big.

A CZ 75 Compact might be as close as you can get. BTW, I'm sure an STI gun would cost you an arm and a leg.

Sounds like you're looking for one of the Star guns.

They'd be about as close as anything.
