Angle Mounted Scout Scope

Okay so this is going to be a different question and I know that I'm going to get a bunch of mixed responses. I'm wanting to mount a scout scope on a canted mount. I'm curious if anybody has ever done this or has any opinions on it. The reason for this is because I'm wanting to use tech sights on a sks, but would still like to engage targets at longer distances. Thanks for your input ahead of time.

Scope bases and mount/ring combos with 20 or even 30 moa built in to the base are very common. It allows shooting longer ranges that the normal scope adjustments would allow.
