And another thing..........

Next to six shooters (no matter what the cylinder capacity is) my favorite thing is Memphis BBQ. In 1975 I went to work for a company located in a building that had a bank of the first floor, and a BBQ restaurant across the street. We were paid on Wednesdays, would go to the bank and then have a BBQ. That restaurant is closed now, and I'm retired, but still have a BBQ every Wednesday that I'm in town.

Last year or so I went to the Three Little Pigs BBQ, and came home with this:

My wife got a laugh about that!

And a fine job you did at posting in the right spot, eating good BBQ (I'm a fan that establishment), and picking up what looks to be a very nice lady to go dance with.

THAT is one very nice S&W. You might wanna hang on to that for a long time. And while Memphis BBQ is mighty good you gotta go to Kansas City to get really good BBQ. (I know I'll start a fight with that) Is Beale Street still crazy after dark? I LOVED the blues I heard down there but there were some pretty scary looking dudes walkin around and squads of cops on every corner.

Barbecue?
Memphis??
Kansas City???

My father told me that if one got more than 50 miles from Wilson, NC it was impossible find good barbecue. :D

I will have to say though that in KC and Memphis they at least know what kind of meat to put on the grill, unlike the Texans. ;)

Of course I have to admit I wouldn't mind at all eating a pile of Memphis, Kansas City, Dallas, or even Lexington BBQ if I could pick up a Smith that lovely. :D

;)

I moved to the KC area and the people I know who like BBQ say that it's fantastic out here. Unfortunately for me, I prefer seafood or Italian, so the fabulousness of the BBQ is lost on me.

On a bright note, it's much easier to purchase and carry a firearm out here, as it was in the state where I used to live. So... gave up the food I enjoyed most, picked up a new, easily accessible hobby.

Welcome to TFL, Mr. Wright.

I'm still tryin' to post things where they're supposed to be.
This is very comendable and something that new members often fail to do. Your attitude, in my opinion, is indicative of someone who will be a good member to this community.

On TFL there is no forum for non-gun-related discussion (what's the best pickup truck, favorite restaurants, best computer printer, etc.) and as is stated in the description for the General Discussion forum, "Posts must be Firearms related." Moderators are fairly strict in their interpretation of this requirement and have a strong tendency to close threads that aren't primarily focused on firearms. With the amount of traffic that TFL receives, the few rules we have prevent chaos and the disintegration of the forum.

Again, welcome to TFL and I look forward to more of your posts. :)

Now that's a fine looking Model 19. They're about as good as they come.

My favorite gun store, "Ali-Babba's House O Guns" has a Bar-B-Que joint next door. I've waited out many a background check there.

I'll be wearing one just like that tommorow. And eating Lexington BBQ while I'm wearing it. :)

Good looking 19 snub. Doesn't get any better than that in a S&W revolver, and evidently - won't. Regards 18DAI

Awesome ) Great looking guns from someone finally near me )))

Hope I see you at one of the ranges so I can drool over all of those beautiful guns.

I'm a pretty big fan of the north Carolina style BBQ work all over the place with the rail road and had some down there a few weeks ago and OMG it was good. Oh yea and I'm sorry but what's with the comments about forcing people to talk about the gun in the picture. It's starting to get a little hitlerish in here lately.
