The earlier thread was locked as the subject had been answered.
I just got off the phone with Sherry at the California DOJ. She was very polite.
She said the following:
There is no need for any interfamialial paperwork since the guns are going to a CA FFL and standard DROS procedures apply.
There is a ten day wait.
There is no monthly limit on firearms received.
In each package/with each gun is a copy of my driver's license. There is also a letter describing the make, model, caliber, general description and serial number for each handgun.
Neither the SSE nor the roster apply.
She said at this point the only issue is to find a FFL who clearly understands the above.
