I own the blued version, would now like to find a SW 19-4, 6" bbl, nickel, excellent condition with box if possible. Can you tell me a reasonable price range, and best places to look for one? Thanks
Check the on-line auction houses first, such as Gun Broker.com or
Guns America. But you might have to find an individual who has one
for sell? Being in the firearms business myself, I rarely ever see a
good used model 19 in any barrel length. $300 is usually a good
starting point for minty S&W K-frame model 19's; but I have seen
the price jump to $350 for really true 98 per center's.
There are three on Gunbroker right now. Prices are kinda high, but they look like nice ones.
If you want to spend some serious money, there's a couple on auctionarms.com that are engraved. They're over $1,000.
