An Old Favorite

I picked this up today. It is a Smith and Wesson Model 15. Basically an adjustable sighted version of the Model 10.

A classic old 38 Special.

That certainly is beautiful. Is that a 3" or 4" Brl??? The only place I can find guns like that in my neck of the woods is auctions online...

I had some red vinyl paint on the front sight that I have removed since I took the pic this morning. I'm not a fan of red front sights. But I am a fan of great old S&W's!

That is a really nice looker. Here's a pic of my 'always' M10. I prefer it to the adjustable sight variety - there's less to snag when drawing. It is pretty well used but still a favorite.
