In response to a certain paria gunwriter's mention of a connection of Ar rifles to "terrorist", I feel compelled to change that anti-gun attitute. My first step will be to buy an AR10 for deer hunting. Its the least I can do.
We used to use a civilian CAR-15 for deer. Had the CAR stock too. Unfortunately it had a military trigger pull and I was a 13 year old weakling used to a .22 not .223. We never did hit anything with that gun. We traded it with a .410 singleshot synthetic youth model pistol grip with a five round holder in the stock (to this day I do not know the make or model and i am still looking) for a Remington 700 STW w/muzzel brake and 3x-9x scope in 7 mm mag (I love this gun )
Anyway back on topic. We used the AR because it was a cheaper pistol grip in a managable caliber (note this was about 8 years ago and we did not know much about guns as a family) and my older sister has fused bones in her albo so she cannot use a standard grip. Her hand doesn't bend that way so she likes to go plinking instead wiht our pistols (she has a love of the Beretta 9 mm )
