Amusing - But Only for Those With A Warped Sense Of Humor

Germany today - a man was spotted driving without his seatbelt by German patrol officers and was flagged down so that a ticket could be issued. The driver had apparently been fined for the same offence on a previous occasion and was so enraged that he produced a handgun and shot the issuing officer dead with a single head shot from an automatic pistol, seriously wounding his colleague in the ensuing gun battle. He then escaped in his vehicle only to be stopped further down the road by a second patrol car who blocked his path. He exited the vehicle and killed both officers with head shots at distance. Finally he drove himself to a secluded spot where he decided to shoot himself, he pointed the gun at his own head, pulled the trigger, and ....................missed.

Fact is often stranger than fiction, a true story from earlier this week.

No joke, perfectly true story, I read it in the paper on Thursday of this week, don't recall any other details other than the fact that when the guy was arrested he was dazed and had a long graze on his forehead where the bullet had narrowly missed him.

I recall his earlier shooting being described as "clinical" with the 3 single head shot kills. See what happens when you spend too much time on the 25 yard range and never practice your point shooting

1) I heard the same story minus the "unsuccessful" part to the suicide.

2) Who knows what this shoot-out was really over...he may have been wanted for something else.

3) Why do people who prevail against tall odds decide to kill themselves?

4) Good shooting except he should have gone for vital organs (if German cops are anything like their Russian counterparts, brains are not al that vital).

I fully agree with 12-34hom's sarcastic-for-good-reason response, "Yea, that was real amusing.." This act of multiple murders seems to be a laughing matter? I guess I don't see the humor.
