DUDE,

No matter what kind of rifle you have. Come on & try out the club. They'll let you shoot the Mauser. We don't get too serious about rules & rifles at this point. We are a new club just trying to get new people interested in Highpower shooting. Some guys come out with 03-A3's, AR's, M14's, AK's, & Mini-14's.

We have a couple of Garand leagues through the Spring & Summer months with one match a month. Anybody can shoot, but you only accumulate points to the year end Garand award if you are shooting a rack grade M1 Garand. Either CMP Service Grade or Danish qualify. IF you don't have an M1, the club owns several & loans them out to new shooters.

We also hold a CMP sanctioned "John C. Garand" match on occasion. Last years was on Oct. 7 & we had 22 shooters, 6 of which were first time competitors.

Lot's of fun and a bunch of ggod guys. You'll have to get in touch with Dave McCurdy for definite info on the AMU clinic. At this point I don't know a whole lot about what's gonna' happen than you do.

E-mail Dave McCurdy at: dleemac@worldnet.att.net or call him at (417) 742-4361

Best regards,
Swampy
